Why doesn't Toyota's have CAN BUS issues? Rust, yea, but I've never heard of a Toyota product with these kind of issues.

This might be helpful to someone....got given a d3 by a customer after his "mechanic " replaced the handbrake module because nothing would work after ,wouldn't start,wouldn't lock or unlock and the hazards came on with the ignition ....my diagnostic tool couldnt communicate with anything except body control module.....linked out the can bus cables to exclude the handbrake module and all ok

2024 May. So if the wiring is bad and doesn’t talk to the Epb then nothing will work? My , new to me, 2007 Se has new Chinese unit but the car will not crank, hazards flash , door lock cycle, and transmission error E, many codes. Now the previous owner broke the connector as there is no locking tab. Watch this video, very helpful. I think that’s my issue. Your views?

That's the reason they charge you the earth, messing about with diagnostics, basically knowing and having knowledge of the common error with range rover fuel pumps. Well, that's another £500 added to your bill! 😂

Analogue multi meters have their use in this case, always an easy way to give a small load, safely.

I would love to be able to watch and learn without getting a migraine from the camera work.

Where did you clamp the amp clamp to get your reading? We've done a few relative compression tests but unable to get on any of the main battery upper engine bay wiring on the 2.7 we've got in?

Hi Joe, 4 years on I found this video after fixing my 05 l322 that had the same problem. the HP injector pump senses the lack of pressure on its feed and if its just dropped a bit will put the engine into low power mode with the 'Fuel Injector Fault' on the dash, if the feed pressure drops any further it cuts the engine to stop the HP pump running dry. fixed in 30 mins with a new in tank pump! Also, thanks for the insight into the difference between the BMW and LR relays, my 03 has the BMW ones and the 05 has the LR ones!🤣

Very nice video! Great to see the ownership costs over such a long period. I bought one with a V8 to avoid all the diesel engine problems but still have loads of other faults on mine with only 190k kilometres. Hoping to fix all those and have a long happy ownership, like you!

Awesome job mate , had exactly the same car now but have fault rear sensor power circuit and front power circuit issue. Still digging on the rear but maybe the front module I need to have a look? Because computer is not switching power to the fron and to the rear. Modul already replaced because old one been shorted

I know this is an old video, but seems odd that it would pick up all those triggers and then miss the tdc trigger which sends the higher voltage spike. In my uneducated mind, it seems electrical since the sensor had been reading to well. You may not even remember but was it in fact a sensor issue or wiring issue?

Hey so my range rover sport drops when I switch off then it blows back up when I start could that be the problem or air leak I got a suspension turn error once when turning right over 30 it feels like the left front wheel is dragging

How do i get to this loom? I've had the same issue. Fuel pump was replaced 5000 miles ago, and filter. The car cut out on me the other day, i have low pressure and it just cranks.

This landrover guy talking about saving customers money is a bit Ritch when he has just cheaply and quickly diagnosed a wrecked engin on an almost bring new Discovery 4 That is not economic to repair with a +7000£ bill for even a used motor that will do the same thing again at any time!!! Or snapp its crankshaft Wonderful car horrible engine Winder if you could get a Toyota engine under the hood???

If that don’t cure it gonna try replacement control module.. Hope I don’t have to take the transfer box..If I do, I’m a little wiser.. Nice 1… Did you fix this issue?

Hi there, do you have any video/info you can direct me to regarding an LR3 rear locking diff rebuild? Plenty vendors sell rebuild kits but no info as to process/specs & not much info online. Would love to tackle this myself but looking for any guidance. Would appreciate you pointing me in the right direction if possible. Love your videos! Cheers!

Hi I just watched this video because I too have a lean code on both banks. Can I ask did you just replace the SS gaskets or did you replace the the EGR? Did it solve the issue? I looked for a follow up video but I couldn't find one.

Out of interest ? how many miles did it have on the clock and if the owner had it repaired , the cost of project . I have always liked these D4 , but not sure if my pockets are deep enough , to enjoy owner ship , as the family may starve .🤔

I have problem with height Sensor My car Range Rover 2016 can you help

Hey, any advice you may have that may be able to help me with my Range Rover Evoque 15plate. I have had no end of issues trying to get parking sensors working. Started off intermittently but now permenant. It says parking aid unavailable please contact dealer. Or just the Parking button just flashes. I have had some rear sensors replaced as garage suggested they were coming up on fault codes. Faults still remained, they said wiring to some sensors was fraying so perhaps a new wiring harness as all faults were on the rear. I have today had a new rear wiring harness fitted from land rover. They reset the codes but still not working. I am not sure where to go with this, any advice would be appreciated mate thanks
